“This is Canoeing” was awarded best Canoeing film at 2 prestigious Canadian Film Festivals – on the same day. The Reel Paddling Film Festival is an annual event organised by Rapid Media. The premiere of the 5th annual competition was held at the Complete Paddler in Toronto where the best paddling films of the year were chosen. The premiere kicks off the Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour, an international paddling film tour with 37 short-listed films screening in 75 cities hosted by paddling shops, clubs and events. The Waterwalker Film Festival is organised by Paddle Canada's as a tribute to the late Bill Mason, the great conservationist, canoeist and filmmaker. Since its inception over 22 years ago, the Festival has entertained and inspired paddling enthusiasts across North America.
