Trails of the Angeles: The 100 Hikes in the San Gabriel Mountains, a classic guidebook first published in 1971, now on its 9th edition completely revised and published in July, 2021, it includes a map detailing all the hiking trails of the San Gabriel Mountains, as well as interesting historical facts such as the location of the first American Indian footpaths, and historical photographs.

These trails are located in the Angeles National Forest, just North of Los Angeles. The trails range from a few hours strolls, to a 2 day trip. The San Gabriel Mountains hiking trails are a web of footpaths, from the western end to the eastern high country hikes. The guidebook will make navigating through trails easier!
